With a fast-paced Orange County lifestyle, Voluspa Creative Director Traci Arntsen found the perfect escape to relax and retreat with her family. After several trips to Montage Deer Valley, the choice was made: Park City, Utah became her new second home. Today, she shares with us the reasons why.
My home is … Park City, Utah.
When I arrive, I feel … immediate relaxation. The view as the plane descends over the snow-capped peaks and the chill in the air tell me I’ve arrived.
You’re likely to find me in my … 360 Cashmere charcoal leggings, Dior over-the-knee boots and cozy Burberry zip-up puffer hoodie.
The most special thing about my home are my … three children; Anais, 11, Paloma, 9, and Poppy, 5
My favorite piece of art is … a beautiful Romero Britto piece.
My favorite room in the house is … my little girls’ room where they built custom bunks and a movie theater. They also recreated the famous bar in Park City No Name Saloon & Grill. So I guess, the entire downstairs.
People would be surprised that the house has … a wraparound sledding track—ice-slicked and professional! The girls love it!
The oldest thing in the house is … a 40-year-old scotch.
The newest are … black-and-white Hermés throw blankets for the movie theater.
My top five favorite things in my house are …
1. The Miele coffee maker in my master suite
2. Heated floors everywhere
3. The view
4. Cozy fur blankets
5. My friends
“Beth Ann Shepherd from Dressed Inc. interior design company created a luxe, plush environment for our Park City ski chalet using fur, neutral colors and unique textures and accents. She’s amazing.”
