To kick off the holiday season, Kacey Bruno and Heather Raney hosted a festive wreath-making party at Montage Laguna Beach. Paige Wilson captured the beautiful SoCal event to share exclusively with Montage Magazine.
Guests arrived at the resort and were greeted with a delicious holiday inspired brunch and tables adorned with a variety of greenery for the custom wreaths. On hand was Nisie Vorachard from Nisie’s Enchanted Florist and two talented designers to lead the class and teach the group how to put together a glamorous holiday wreath. Vorachard brought fresh succulents, moss, ornaments, ribbon and other items to embellish the wreaths.
Resort Executive Chef Rob Wilson presented a beautiful presentation of brunch selections for guests. Christmas tea sandwiches included heirloom tomato candy canes, cucumber Christmas trees and smoked salmon stars; Quiches included Quiche Lorraine, bacon and Gruyere cheese (Garnished with Bacon and micro greens); Quiche with ham and aged cheddar cheese (Garnished with a cheddar cheese crisp) and Quiche with leek, artichoke and got cheese (Garnished with cherry tomato and artichoke). Two shake salads in mason jars were a guest favorite: flowering winter kale, fennel and toasted hazelnuts with preserved orange vinaigrette; and baby lettuces, dried cranberry, and candied walnuts with honey sherry vinaigrette.
Montage presented a Mimosa Bar featuring Montage Cuvee and chocolates and macaroons from Executive Pastry Chef, Lee Smith.
Every guest took home a beautiful wreath to display on their door and a special gift from local Laguna Beach jewelry designer, Gorjana.
